Our Story.
So Bright Studio is a landscape architecture and creative design firm, founded by industry veterans Sara O’Bright and Brendan Escobar. The firm has extensive experience in creative landscape design and planning for a variety of project types, including residential master planned communities, retail and entertainment and luxury resort and hospitality.
At our core, we are dedicated to designing environments that create powerful experiences. With decades of expertise gained from working with esteemed design firms and alongside talented designers on projects, we are committed to upholding a legacy of exceptional design for our clients.

Brendan Escobar, PLA
Co-Founder | Principal
Brendan Escobar, founding Partner of So Bright Studio is a Licensed Landscape Architect with 15 years of experience, who has previously worked for the Rabben/Herman design office as an Associate.
Brendan specializes in digital presentation graphics and technical design documents. He has distinguished himself as a leader, talented designer and project manager for International projects and construction. His experience includes working on domestic and international master planned communities, hotels/resorts, themed entertainment environments, and commercial landscapes.
Graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Landscape Architecture from the California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, CA

Sara O'Bright
Co-Founder | Principal
Sara O’Bright, founding Partner of So Bright Studio has 30 years of experience in international projects ranging from community planning, large scale urban design, resort/hotel, retail/entertainment, high-density residential projects, theme parks, waterparks, and themed entertainment projects.
Sara serves as So Bright Studio's Lead Designer and hand illustrative graphics artist who has previously worked for the Rabben/Herman Design Office as a Senior Associate for 11 years.
Before joining RHdo, Sara provided consulting services to WATG and JZMK Partners, and has worked for firms such as SLA Studio Land, Newport
Beach, CA, and Peridian International.
Graduated with a BLA in Fine Art and Landscape Architecture from the University of Guelph.
Professional Staff
Our professional design staff have a wide range of project experience from themed entertainment, commercial and mixed-use projects, master planned communities and international resorts and hotels.
Their expertise with graphics and design programs and ability to collaborate allow So Bright Studio to produce high quality, concise and meaningful projects for our clients.
