• Focuses on major areas such as entries, project amenities and special features.

• Provides additional detail in paving patterns, site features and coordinates infrastructure elements at larger scale.

• The larger scale drawings allow for a more complete understanding of how the elements interact.

Site Grading Plans

• Comprehensive site grading and drainage plans provide a deeper understanding of how the site functions naturally.

• Spot grades such as wall elevations, high/low points and flow slopes and directions are crucial in making sure the design functions both with nature and meets all accessible requirements.

Hardscape Details

• This is where we ask the question: How is this going to work? The big idea now needs to fit together.

• Plan, elevation, section and enlargements, all main design views come into play for specific elements of the design.

• Size, materials, fixtures, standards are utilized to allow the project to be built.

Planting Plans

• Considered the softscape of the project, it is the tree and shrub planting for the project. 

• Early stages denote areas of planting or categorize types of plants, but the planting plans make "concrete" decisions.

• The actual plant proposed for the projects are defined, located and specified by size, variety and quantity.

Lighting, Signage and Furniture Plans

• These appurtenance plans complete to the overall design and aesthetic of a project. 

• The overall look and feel of these elements are just as important as the function.

• These plans locate and specify what elements needed for comfort, useability and safety for a project.
